Literacy Rotation

On Monday we had changes with the Senior Block. We Started at 8:30Pm, and we do Literacy. The first Teacher I had was Miss Tito.

We were doing Visual Art. Miss Tito was explaining things before we started. Then we had to draw a Koru. First we had a paper to draw on.

When we had finished we had to show Miss Tito. She “said yep now you can do your real Koru”. So I got a black paper and drew a Koru.

The next one we had to do is Kowhaiwhai. Kowhaiwhai is a maori pattern. The mean thing that I liked, was doing the Koru because it was easy. The Kowhaiwhai was ok to do but it was a bit hard.

Miss Tito put some on the wall after the Visual Art. It was time to clean up some people didn’t want to. They still wanted to finish of their work.

Fun Run

Last week the Senior block, has been running around the Pt England reserve. We had to run along the fence. I was running with my friends Chloe and Martha.The Teachers were timing us.
Ms Djamali said “On your marks, get set, GO!” and we all started running with our mates. While we were running we saw Anamei fall over, people were laughing at her. So she got back up and left her mates behind.

We were running on the muddy grass. It felt really yuck, our feet and our school shorts were getting muddy. When we got back we had to do another lap. 

We had to do another lap around the reserve because the teachers didn’t write our timing down. Me and my friends were tired but we kept going. We run around the Pt England reserve everyday after morning tea.

What My Friends Say About Me

On the last day of  Tearm we played a game. Everyone had to write something positive. We were not allowed to say something Negative about them. 

One thing that somebody said about me was that I was pretty awesome because I am Helpful. Anamei said I have such a  cheeky smile I think she said that because I have a nice smile.Henry said I was funny at tech. 

I thick he said that because I got in trouble from Mr Grandy. Me Chloe and Henry promised  that if one of us gets in trouble we will have too. Henry and Chloe got in trouble because they were running around. 

So I had to get in trouble I was playing with a pencil and he sent me out. And Mr Grandy said can you do me something then he said shut up. I was happy when someone said I am cool.

Fiafia Hip Hop 2013

For the past  5 weeks we have been Practising Hip Hop.On the 18th on Thursday we are going to dance in front of the kids and people. When I first saw the dance it looked heard to do.

We did it with people in other classrooms. While we practise the dance it was cool. It was my first time doing Hip Hop for the school. There are different kinds of other stuff like Drumming, singing, Dances and heaps of other stuff.

Some people was just standing and, looking at other people so they can get it right. I was getting the dance and it was cool. We kept on practising then we can get it right. After that we got it right, the cool thing was that everybody got it right.

Ane Graveyard Narrative

One afternoon it was my friends Birthday we went to the movies to celebrate her Birthday we watched a horror Movie. When we finished watching the Movie it was 10:00 so we walked home through the cemetery because the other way was to long. After watching a horror Movie it was like we were in the Movie because it looks like the same Cemetery on the horror Movie.

While walking through the Cemetery we all called hear something. It was just my friend called Chloe but she said she didn’t do anything. Then we all got scared  and then we were walking faster and faster it was getting louder and louder.

Then we looked behind us and it was just the man from the Cemetery. He said didn’t you read the sign no  and then he said’’ get out of here.’’ All I will kill you ha then we ran out of the Cemetery. When we went out of the Cemetery he called all of our names out loud. Then we said how did he know our names. So we walked home safely and happy.
