My Holiday

In the holiday I went to the pools with my family .



We got our togs.Then we got our food then my sisters brother cousins and his friend eat .
Then we got changed into our togs then we went in the pool.




It was sunny and hot we were at YMCA pools then my big sister bush me in the pool .
Then I get cold when I got in the pool .


Then I was swimming with my sisters and cousins.We played rugby with my cousin, my bother and my friend and sister.My a other cousin was inside the pool.

New Class/New Teachers

Hi my name is Ane, I am in room 17 it is a cool class and I am a year 6.Our class has 2 teachers

their names are Miss Garden and Miss Thompson.

Ane Mesmerising Assemly

Can you guess what we did for our Immersion Assembly? In Immersion Assembly Mr Burt was showing us about Outta This World and Maui's Hook.

Then Team 1 showed us a movie of them painting on a peace of paper and then the other one was printed out. They put yellow paper on it.

Team 2 was dancing to a rap about the planets. They were dancing like robots, everyone was laughing at them.
They were wearing a box on there head so they would look like real robots.

Miss Barks and Team 3 showed us a movie about gravity. A man first talked about a vest that astronauts need to keep there food on. Another man was talking about what happens if you need to go to the toilet.

Team 4 had Mr Somerville playing a guitar. They played a movie about the wiggles and the song twinkle, twinkle little star.


Team 5 did a movie about space and aliens. The green aliens were good. My favorite part was because Mr Harris was the princess and it was funny. That was my best part at Assembly. Thank you for looking in my writing. THE END

Spectacular New Zealand

The Rugby world cup is bringing lots of tourists to New Zealand, but there is more here than just a cup!

The first people in New Zealand were the Maori people. It’s interesting to learn about the many different people in our multi-cultural country. The animals in NZ are mainly wild birds with some bush creatures. My favourite animals is a tiger, it’s black and orange although this animal doesn’t live in New Zealand.

Mesmerising Australia

It's only a short hop, skip and jump across the Talisman sea to Australia, but there is a world of difference in what you will find there.

The people in Australia are multi cultural. The first people in Australia were the Aborigine people.

My favourite animal in a Australia is the Koala and they eat leaves. The Koala climbs trees which is cool. Kangaroo's jump, they have poachers so the baby can sit in it when the mother jumps.

If you are fortunate enough to make the journey, you will need to allow plenty of time to explore all that Australia has to offer.

Cross Country

At cross country Mr Burt said get your marks get set go.I ran past the big cows.I saw heaps of trees and bushes.There was slippery mud. I run up hill and down hill.

At the end i was tired.I went past the fence.I saw people cheering at the finish line. I was happy because it was finished.

Snowy Day At Auckland

When the people drove on the snowy road it was slippery. They had to drive their cars carefully and seriously. The cars were heavily coated with snow.
